Who hasn’t been mesmerized by the dancing flames of a campfire? Campfires or even fireplaces and fire pits bring people together for song, dance, stories, laughter, and tears. We allow ourselves to become absorbed in the experience and to let down our shoulders (if only for a night). I cannot help but relax as the heat of the fire warms my body and the sense of community feeds my soul.
