CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

HOW DO I CLEAN AND CARE FOR THE RESIN ART PRODUCTS?

Cleaning and maintaining resin art is easy. Simply wipe with a soft cloth and glass cleaner or mild soap and water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.  Keep away from direct sunlight.  For more detailed instructions check out our Care Instructions.

WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE IN YOUR ART?

I primarily use a high-quality resin, acrylic and wood along with various mixed media elements such as pigments, ceramics, glass and metals.

WHAT IS RESIN?

Resin is a synthetic compound that can be liquid or solid and is typically derived from organic materials like plants or synthesized from petrochemicals. In crafting, liquid resin is commonly used as a casting material to create various objects, jewelry, art pieces, and more

WHAT TYPE OF RESIN IS USED FOR YOUR ART?

Adventures Await Artistry uses epoxy resin for all the resin pieces. Epoxy resin is a type of synthetic polymer that, when mixed with a hardening agent, undergoes a chemical reaction resulting in a hardened, durable material.

HOW DOES EPOXY RESIN DIFFER FROM OTHER TYPES OF RESIN?

Epoxy resin differs from other types of resin, such as polyester resin, in its chemical composition and properties. Epoxy resin typically has a longer curing time, better adhesion, higher strength, and greater resistance to yellowing and UV damage compared to polyester resin.

WHAT DO YOU USE TO COLOR THE RESIN AND ACRYLIC

We use 100% natural mineral mica powders to color our resin and acrylic. Mica is a naturally occurring, non-toxic mineral that is finely ground to create a shimmering powder

ARE EPOXY RESIN JEWELRY PIECES SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN?

Our  jewelry pieces are suitable for sensitive skin, we utilize brass and zinc alloy (nickel free) materials and silver plated (nickel free) materials for earring hooks or necklace chains. All jewelry item descriptions on our web-page note the metals used. However, if you have particularly sensitive skin, it’s essential to test a small area before wearing the jewelry for an extended period to ensure there is no adverse reaction.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

HOW LONG IS THE PROCESSING AND SHIPPING TIMES FOR ORDERS?

The time it takes to process orders can vary due to several factors, such as order volume. Usually, processing takes 1 to 3 business days, but during busy times, it may be slightly longer. Once your order is processed and shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details to monitor its delivery status.

Shipping typically takes 5 to 8 days to reach its destination, but during holidays and peak seasons, it may take longer. If you have any questions about the processing time for your order, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for more details

DO YOU OFFER FREE SHIPPING?

Yes, we provide free shipping for all orders within the United States only (except for our larger charcuterie boards and other large items), allowing you to enjoy our products without any additional shipping charges.  Please read our Shipping & Delivery Policy for more details.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

No, we don’t offer international shipping at this time. 

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER DURING THE SHIPPING PROCESS?

Yes, we provide order tracking for all shipments, including those eligible for free shipping within the United States. You’ll receive tracking information once your order is shipped.

DO YOU OFFER PICK UP SERVICE?

Absolutely! We offer the option for customers to pick up their orders at events where we will be participating locally. We accept major credit/debit cards, GooglePay, and CashApp for online purchases.

Cash, Venmo, and PayPal are also accepted at in-person events.

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES?

Take your time choosing the piece that resonates with you. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact us. Please note, we don’t accept returns or exchanges at this time.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?

At this time we do not offer gift cards.
